Access for All

Your family may qualify for free or reduced price meals.

As a part of the National School Lunch Program, some students may be eligible for a free or reduced price lunch.  All families wishing to receive free or reduced meals must complete a new application each school year. If the family received assistance in the previous year, it may continue briefly into the new year, but without a new application the benefits could stop.  It can take up to 10 days to process an application. After the application has been processed, the family will receive a letter stating those benefits for which the family is eligible. Applications are always available in the school office, administration building or online. If you would like to see if you would qualify, click here to see the income eligibility guidelines.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) waivers that were in place due to COVID-19 have been removed, which means that school meal prices will resume as usual during the 2022-2023 school year.

Breakfast will continue to be free for all Waller ISD (WISD) students, however, normal lunch prices will resume ($2.10 for elementary and $2.35 for junior high/high school). Families can still qualify for their children to receive free or reduced-price lunches by completing the online meal application
