U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) waivers that were in place due to COVID-19 have been removed, which means that school meal prices will resume as usual during the 2022-2023 school year.
Breakfast will continue to be free for all Waller ISD (WISD) students, however, normal lunch prices will resume ($2.10 for elementary paid, $2.35 for junior high/high school paid, and $0.40 for reduced students). Families can still qualify for their children to receive free or reduced-price lunches by completing the online meal application.
